On collaboration
With Elise Pia.
Elise Pia and I are close friends and long-time collaborators. For years we travelled almost every weekend to a small village in Eastern Europe — a different one whenever we could manage it — and most of the stories we’ve written since are really about the people we met on those trips. Two of the titles listed above (How to Join a Cult and The Spy Who Went to Therapy) came directly out of that partnership. More is in progress.
